Hasta la VISTA baby!

Sounds familiar to you? Yeah!! It actually means "seeya again, baby" in Spanish.

Finally got my new rig together with a 19" wide screen! No more eye squinting, no more long bootup time, no more lagging, no more multi-prog hang. The Vista OS has got really nice UI. There is even a gadget that mimic the Mac which display the "Expose" menu function when u mouse over that icon. I have been enjoying those DviX movies more then before. Looks like I'll be spending more time in front of of a flat panel for the next few days...?

25 more days

Really fast, five weeks had passed. 25 more days before I  wrap up this prelude and proceed to chapter one! So full of anticipation and excitement about what I will soon be experiencing. Very soon, I'll know if I love my job, very soon, I'll know if this is my path.

Something strange and contagious is happening! But it is not spreading to me, unfortunately... Nevertheless, someone's trip has been subsidised quite heavily though.

I seriously need a bigger monitor!! Maybe I need a new desktop? Vista? Hmmm...

Far

Well, I found a new definition for FAR.

Just as I thought that Tampines to NUS was far, I traveled from Tampines to CCK HTA! This is gonna happen for next 2 months.... Now, this is the real journey to the west!! I'm starting to appreciate my 11 more, again.

The Search is over

Wow!!

Many hours (can someone help me count?) since I last posted an entry. Not to mention my manifold life. If you remember about The Search, its officially over. I realised it when I put my signature on the dotted line, and how my life will be ever different from today on. It started of with a bad weather but all things turn out well, good and fruitful!

Oh well, another march school holiday had passed and as all the little kids and their little teachers are enjoying the break, I was burning 9 x (24 - 3)hrs of my precious and meaningful moments to "change lives and design destinies". Making me rethink the idea of a business that sells a program in a production line concept! What are we? Factory operators? The kids are your final product? Oh please... Gimme a break! The kids deserve more then this. They were there for a reason and most often then not, their parents are the causes of the issues they have. Please spare a thought for those poor kids. I'm gonna think about this matter seriously before I step into that place again.

Hmm... I've managed to restore my flooble chatterbox. Please make use of it so that it would not get expired.

The Search

Yea, I think its high time for me to update this "degenerating" blog of mine. Whoever left that "comment", thanks ya! Thanks for "up-ing" my shoutout box before flooble takes it away on the groung of inactivity.

Its time for The Search, the milestone of my life. Can't bear to depart from where I came from. Even though it has been a dreading two and a half year, nonetheless, it was eventful and cherishable. Call me weird or abnormal, I actually enjoyed those times. I had to travel 30km (my journey to the west) to NUS for a three hours sectional teaching and then another 30km back to Tampines... Quite a mix feelings of joy and sorrow. No more student meals, no more canteen food, no more sem breaks, no more projects, no more test, on more exams... no more... anymore...

Now I've reached another junction of my life. The search for the route which I'll continue to take, to achieve what ever I want to achieve (which is what?). Not sure if I can ever become the commander of Traffic Police, well at least there's something I can work towards to. The Search is on...

Just wanna share something light-hearted. I've watched quite a few movies recently, and the one that strikes me most would be Borat and Little Miss Sunshine. Borat is a comedy about a guy from Kahzakstan (did I spell it right?) who went on a documentary filming in America to learn about their culture so that his country can learn and improve. It protrayed the cultural difference, well, some are fictional, between the two countries causing hillarious situations! I believe that everyone will take back something from a movie. What I took back was- no one culture is superior to another. Well, who says that things should be done this way or people should behave in a particular manner than its correct? It all depends on where we are and who are we talking about right? Not everything should be done according to the U.S. of A for it to be right. But then again, if we are doing it there, then it should be done that way. Confused? Yes, I think I sux at philosophy, so forget it. Little Miss Sunchine is about how a family do whatever it takes, and YES, I really mean DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES, to help fulfill a little girl's dream of joining a beauty pageant. Very heart-warming movie, tells a lot about unconditional love of a family.

Something I saw on while writing this...
"Hi jupiterian! It's been 777 (wow, that's a big number) days since you joined Xanga... won't you support us by going Premium?"
My ans: No.

"For god sake, can someone from SESC call me and tell me its fixed?!"
